Shipping

Shipping information

Everything you need to know about shipping your games to us — free shipping details, where to send your collection, how to pack your box, and what to expect along the way.

We currently buy only from sellers in the United States, so every collection must ship from a U.S. address, with or without a free label.

Free shipping

Free prepaid shipping

Estimates of $50 or more come with a free prepaid shipping label. Accept your estimate, enter your address and package size, and we email you the label — then pack your games and drop the box off. Your estimate page tells you up front whether free shipping is included.

Free shipping restrictions

  • Estimates must be $50 or more.
  • Free shipping is only available from the continental U.S. (the 48 contiguous states and Washington, DC). It is not available from Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, other U.S. territories, and military addresses.
  • Packages must be 45 lb or less and fit within 24×18×18 in.

Regular shipping

If the estimate does not qualify for free shipping

You can still sell us your collection — you just cover the cost of shipping it to us.

  • Pack your games securely (see How to pack your games below).
  • Send them with any carrier you like. We recommend a tracked service, and insurance for anything valuable.
  • Put your reference number inside the box so we can match it to your estimate.

Checklist

Before you ship

  1. Accept your estimate first. If it includes free shipping, we email you a prepaid label with our address already printed on it.
  2. Keep your box to 45 lb and 24×18×18 in or smaller.
  3. Put your reference number (it looks like RR-2026-00000) inside the box, along with the packing list you can print from your accepted estimate.
  4. Send what’s in your photos. If what arrives is different, your inspection results will reflect what we find.
  5. Send games only. We cannot buy consoles, controllers, or accessories, so leave those out of the box.

Packing

How to pack your games

Good packing is the best way to make sure your games arrive in the condition you described.

Discs and cases

  • Keep every disc in its case so it cannot scratch or crack, and make sure each case holds the right disc.
  • Wrap any jewel cases (PS1, Dreamcast, etc.) with individual bubble wrap to prevent scratches.
  • Pack cases snugly in rows so nothing can slide around.

Loose cartridges

  • Wrap each cartridge on its own to protect the label and the metal contacts.
  • Do not put cartridges loose in a box or bag — knocking together is how labels get scuffed.
  • Use a cartridge case or sleeve first if you have one.

Boxed games

  • Wrap each box individually — crushed corners and creased covers can lower its value.
  • Keep the manual and any inserts inside the box they came with.
  • Stack boxes flat and snug, with padding between them.

For every box

  • Add bubble wrap around your games to protect them.
  • Use a sturdy, plain shipping box that fits your games: not so big they roam around, not so small it bulges. Original retail packaging, or a box that shows what is inside, can void insurance coverage.
  • Fill the empty space with bubble wrap or crumpled paper until nothing shifts when you give the box a shake.
  • Seal every seam with packing tape.

Our Condition Guidelines explain how cartridges and discs are valued.

In transit

Getting your package there safely

  • You are responsible for your package until it arrives at our facility.
  • Every prepaid label includes up to $100 of USPS coverage at no cost to you.
  • You can add optional insurance for more coverage when you request your label. You see the cost first, and it is deducted from your payout rather than paid upfront.
  • Our prepaid labels are trackable. Drop your package off somewhere you get a receipt or scan, and hold onto the tracking number until your sale is complete.

Coverage, optional insurance, and what happens if a package is lost or damaged are explained in full in our Terms of Service.

After inspection

Returns after inspection

  • Once you accept your estimate and ship your collection, all sales are final unless the final value of a game is adjusted upon inspection.
  • If we lower the value of a game, you can choose to have that game returned to you instead of sold.
  • The cost of return shipping is deducted from your payout. The prepaid label we provide only covers shipping your collection to us.
  • A game valued at $0 is not considered adjusted and is not returned, including counterfeit games and games that do not work.
