After more than 20 years working in the game industry, I found myself missing what drew me to it. As the industry became more corporate and uncertain, the connection to games—and the people who love them—felt harder to find.
Reselling started as a way to keep the lights on. I didn’t expect it to become something I loved.
Meeting collectors, hearing the stories behind their collections, and talking about the games we grew up with brought back a sense of community I’d been missing. What began as a necessity became a new direction. That’s where Retro Rematch began.
The games that made my childhood wonderful still have something to give. They can introduce a new player to an old favorite or help someone rediscover part of their childhood. We’re here to keep those physical games in circulation and find them people who will enjoy them again.
